As Founder & CEO Gary sets the mission and standards for the day-to-day operations at Living Emerald, and oversees a team of asset managers, property managers as well as maintaining and creating relationships with lenders, and partners alike.

Gary’s real estate career began in the commercial financing field. Starting out as a commercial loan originator at Meridian Capital Group, Gary negotiated hundreds of millions of dollars in real estate financing, across all asset types.

Gary continued on in 2015 to join Emerald Equity Group as executive vice president and principal in many deals. Gary’s expertise in real estate finance has brought to Emerald a unique strength in sourcing, negotiating, and securing the requisite capital for funding Emerald’s acquisitions. Since joining Emerald, Gary has sourced, negotiated, and closed over $1.5 billion in real estate transactions.

In 2018 Gary founded Living Emerald with a focus on expanding his real estate portfolio beyond the borders of NYC, and continued acquiring properties in St. Louis MO, Dallas TX, Atlanta GA, as well as South and Central New Jersey.

As Chief Financial Officer for Living Emerald Azriel’s extensive experience in internal control, financial analysis and reporting for both private and publicly traded companies, is key to the company’s management of finances, reporting and controls.

Azriel’s expertise is a vital asset earning Living Emerald the strong confidence of some of the most prestigious lenders, who have come to rely on its thorough cost analyses and financial documentation.

Prior to joining Emerald, Azriel served as an Audit & Advisory Professional at Deloitte & Touche, LLP where he successfully led audit teams on both large public and privately held corporations. In addition to audits, Azriel has assisted on multiple advisory projects including implementation of new internal controls as well as assisting clients in the completion of complex transactions.
